If your away game is reversed to Maypole, it is important that you contact Lee or Hazel of the change.

After booking a pitch, you then decide to put-in or you a receive a 21-day notice from your opposition, please remember to inform Lee ASAP of the change.

Cancellation of Matches

During poor weather conditions, pitch inspections will be held on either Saturday's or Sunday's by a league referee or a minimum of 2 Maypole Representatives.

When Birmingham City Council call off all Parks Pitches, this will only effect the Yardley Wood side of the ground, this means that we can still hold our own pitch inspection on the Maypole side. Following guidance from CWYFL: If games are called off at the 10.30am slot, other time slots still may be played providing: 11-a-side: It is confirmed by the 12.30pm referee(s) that the pitch is playable. Note: Advise the away team that it still may be called off depending on the referee's decision, if the game is called off by a referee then both teams have to split their 'turning up fee' of £11. Mini-Soccer: The decision can be made by our groundsman or in his absence from both team managers, although if one of the manager's refuses to play then this will have to be accepted, a decision must be agreed by both managers.

If pitches have been called off prior to Sunday, we will make every effort to contact you. If by Sunday we are unable to make contact and you are still unsure then please make an effort to contact either Maypole's ground on 0121 436 6050 or Jason on 07900 185553.
