Summer Soccer Camp:
Our first Soccer Camp was a resounding success with over 100 children taking part over a
3-week period. Some of the children enjoyed it that much they booked up for a second & even third week. During the course of the week, all players were part of an International team, below are the players lining up at the end of each day for England, Brazil ect

Presentation Awards 2006:
Back in June 2006, we had a fantastic turn out to our two presentation nights, this helped to make this the best presentations that we have ever put on.
Former Villa player Gordon Cowans commented " This was a most enjoyable evening" whilst former Blues favourite Joe Gallagher said " This was the best presentation i've had pleasure being involved with"

Maypole Utd U9's Tournament Cup Winners 2006
Back in May 2006, Utd U9's won the 'North Devon Tournament' at Woolacombe Bay.
After winning their group stage they went on to beat Darrick Wood Eagles from London 2-0 in the final.

Maypole Utd U14's Champions 2005/06
After winning 7-0 at home to Churchill Utd, Utd U14's secured the league title and won promotion to Division 4.

Maypole Juniors U8's League Champions 2005/06
After winning 3-1 away to Cadbury Athletic, U8's Juniors secured the league title and won promotion to Division 'A'
The Juniors also won the Minehead Festival beating 12 other teams from all over UK to win the trophy on their end of season tour.

Maypole Utd U15's League Champions 2005/06
After winning 4-0 against Redditch Utd, Utd U15's secured the league title and won promotion to the Premiership.

Football in the Community:
Back in February 2006 our FA qualified coaches completed a 6-week course, coaching girls in local schools.
The course had been extremely successful and was followed with a festival with 5 local schools taking part. The festival was attended by officials from the F.A. and by Everton’s and England’s midfield player, Emily Westwood. It proved to be a wonderful day, with all players receiving gifts and a certificate from the F.A.
